Playable Dinosaurs & Prehistoric Animals
The following page is a list of the Playable Dinosaurs & Prehistoric Animals that are currently available in the Core Rulebook & Clone-a-Saurus Expansions. This does not include any Dinosaurs or other Prehistoric Animals in other Collaborative Expansions such as the Primitive War Miniatures Game - for more information on those dinosaurs as well as the expansions, check out the Collaborative Expansions page!

This is page is meant to be an "In-Universe" look at these Animals and it does not necessarily reflect reality - despite the amount of research conducted. Real scientific information and our fictional additions will be kept separate in the entries as to avoid any confusion.

Author's Note: Remember, our understanding of what Dinosaurs looked and acted like is constantly evolving; from the oversized and stupid Victorian-era lizards to the sluggish and upright standing monsters of Stop Motion Animated Fame to the cunning and intelligent beasts that terrorized Hollywood and to the majestic animals that grace our nature documentaries. These changes happen because paleontologists make new discoveries and propose new theories on both new and older specimens! With this in mind, the Clone-a-Saurus team strives to get the best of both worlds by providing Stat Blocks for both our own Hollywood-style Dinosaurs as well as Scientifically Accurate Dinosaurs!

Certain playable Dinosaur species will feature a small blurb labeled as "Compatible Species". This is put in place to allow players to play as dinosaurs that aren't currently supported in-game. These species may see representation in future Official Expansions or Collaborative Expansions.
THE PRETREL'S PARADISE FIELD JOURNAL
Hello (INSERT EMPLOYEE NAME),
If you have received this Field Journal, then congratulations on joining the Department of Primeval Animal Affairs Outpost on Petrel's Paradise. This Field Journal will serve as an essential resource for understanding and documenting the diverse Prehistoric Wildlife that lives on this island and archipelago. It will help guide you during any encounters with the various species that you will run into during your day-to-day tasks and expeditions.

Unfortunately for us, the Petrel's Paradise Field Journal is far from complete. Despite our best efforts, we have yet to identify every single species of cloned life on the island. While we have managed to recover some of the lost documents from the various abandoned Project Clone-a-Saurus sites, we still have plenty of work to do - and that's where you come in! Rangers and Game Wardens, such as yourself, will be outfitted for expeditions throughout the Archipelago in order to uncover, observe, and document all known and unknown Prehistoric species.
We have the incredible opportunity to learn about these animals and study animals that have been extinct for millions of years! Through our combined efforts, we will be one step closer to having complete and definitive knowledge of these animals, and together we will push scientific progress forward, and advance the field of Paleontology to new heights!

As we navigate through this man-made Lost World, this Field Journal will be your greatest weapon against any of the dangers that lurk out in these mysterious jungles. Knowing about these animals will be the foundation for your survival when out in the field!

Remember - Stay Vigilant. Stay Curious. Take Notes!
But most importantly - don't get eaten or stepped on!
